Life of an app
Bio: Alma is a Senior Software Engineer at Google London. She has spent the last 7 years working on Google Play Console, enabling developers to make their apps available to users on Google Play. She studied a BEng. in Computer Science and a BSc. in Mathematics at the Autonomous University of Madrid in Spain and a MSc. in Interaction Design and Technologies at Chalmers University in Sweden.
Abstract: Over 2.5 billion global users download apps on Google Play. The Play Console enables developers to make their apps available to this wide audience. In this talk we will cover the lifecycle of a Google Play app, from publishing a first release to receiving users’ feedback and metrics, as well as review how to safely roll out new features for a high-quality app.
