Welcome to the 9th ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: womENcourage™ 2022 that is going to take place in Larnaka, Cyprus, 21-23 September, 2022!

Open to all genders, womENcourage was initiated by ACM-W Europe and aimed at connecting women from diverse technical disciplines and encouraging them to pursue their education and profession in computing.

Have you heard that you could present your projects during womENcourage 2022 by joining us online? This will be a great opportunity to showcase your work, either a research project or a final year project, and share it with the Computing and STEAM community.

Drawing New Lines in Science

This year’s ACM womENcourage 2022 recognises that both the Arts and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) share a focus on creative thinking, problem solving and experiential, immersive learning. We are celebrating ways in which the Arts relate to STEM, often referred to as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
