Case Studies

We need your feedback! If you attend one of the Case Studies sessions, please take a moment to let us know about your experience using this form.

Case studies are extensively used in social sciences, life sciences and medicine to perform a thorough analysis of a specific question or topic. They are a forum for lively discussion, and the meeting of minds to solve a challenging issue as a team. The Case Studies sessions of womENcourage will present participants with a number of challenging scenarios that a junior researcher may find themselves in during the course of their undergraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral training, and facilitate guided discussion of how to constructively solve each challenge. Participation in the Case Studies session will provide participants with insight into problems they themselves may face (or may already have faced), and food for thought on how to streamline their own career experiences.
