Join the Hackathon

This year’s womENcourage hackathon is designed to showcase how computer science can revolutionize education. This event provides a platform for participants to apply their technical knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills to develop innovative technological solutions that address pressing educational challenges.

This year’s challenge theme is aligning with the conference’s central focus on Computer Science: a Catalyst for Educational Change

The Challenge is an engaging full-day event open to anyone passionate about leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned programmer or new to computer science, you’re welcome to join. We encourage diverse, multidisciplinary teams comprising educators, instructional designers, data scientists, AI specialists, developers, and education policy experts to collaborate on cutting-edge educational technology solutions. Mentors will be available throughout the event to provide guidance and support as you build your project, ensuring that everyone can contribute meaningfully regardless of their background or expertise level.
This event exemplifies how computer science serves as a catalyst for educational change, fostering innovation that can reshape the future of learning.

Who can join?

The hackathon welcomes participants of all genders, nationalities, and ages (18+), regardless of IT experience. Your interest in technology is the key requirement.
