Her calm expression signals self awareness, resilience and inner balance, core dimensions of well-being that the conference seeks to elevate.

Her flowing hair forms the primary narrative canvas of the logo. Interwoven within it are delicate cyber inspired circuit lines, symbolizing computer science, digital connectivity and the technical foundations of our field. This fusion of organic form and technological pattern reflects a key message of womENcourage 2026: computing and human well-being must evolve together, not in isolation.

The hair is enriched with olive branches and lavender, both deeply rooted in the Mediterranean landscape of the French Riviera. Olive branches traditionally represent peace, endurance and renewal, while lavender evokes calm, healing and mental clarity. Together, they reinforce the conference’s strategic focus, which aims to create harmonious, supportive and welcoming digital environments in order to foster creativity whilst taking human well-being into account.

Cicadas appears as a subtle but meaningful regional symbol. Native to southern France, the cicada is widely associated with summer, voice, presence and seasonal renewal. Its inclusion echoes the call to unmute, encouraging participants to speak up, be heard and contribute their perspectives to the computing community.

At the base of the composition, flowing sea waves reference the Mediterranean coastline of Nice. The waves symbolize continuity, movement and collective strength, underscoring the idea that progress in computing is built through community and shared momentum. They also evoke the restorative qualities of coastal environments, reinforcing the well-being dimension of this year’s theme.

The sunlit backdrop reflects the warm climate and luminous character of the French Riviera, conveying optimism, energy and growth. It serves as a visual metaphor for the supportive conditions required for individuals and communities to thrive.

Overall, the womENcourage™️ 2026 logo communicates a clear strategic narrative: human well-being and technical excellence are mutually reinforcing priorities. By blending natural Mediterranean elements with digital motifs, the design highlights the conference’s commitment to advancing computing cultures that are creative, welcoming, warm, caring and human-centred IT cultures.

You can download the logo and use it in your Posters and Presentations!

womENcourage2026 logo

About the womENcourage™ 2026 Logo When we created this logo, we wanted it to capture the magic of Provence and the Mediterranean Sea, to create a warm, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
