Having become Roman and attached to Rome, Antipolis experienced considerable growth. A factor in economic development, the Aurelia Way, one of the main roads in Gaul, served the city.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nowadays, Antibes has\u00a0 a very beautiful old town near the coast.
