She holds a Laurea in Communication from the University of Siena (Italy) and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Limerick (Ireland), and she has held professorial posts in both Computing (2017-2020, Sheffield Hallam University, UK) and Applied Psychology (2020-present, UCC). <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She is an Academic Member of Lero &#8211; the Irish Research Centre for Software. Ciolfi has extensive experience in research, teaching\/supervision and leadership in Human-Computer Interaction internationally. She has authored over 100 refereed articles and several books and edited collections. She has been an invited speaker in fifteen countries. Ciolfi held numerous scientific leadership roles in the fields of HCI and CSCW, including General Co-Chair of ACM TEI 2024, ACM CSCW 2021, and ECSCW 2017. Her research focuses on the design and development of new theories, technologies, and tools for program analysis, with a particular focus on automated assertion generation, symbolic summation, computer algebra, and automated theorem proving. She is the co-developer of the Vampire theorem prover and a Wallenberg Academy Fellow of Sweden. Her research has also been awarded an ERC Starting Grant 2014, an ERC Proof of Concept Grant 2018, an ERC Consolidator Grant 2020, and Amazon Research Awards 2020 and 2023. With over 30 years of experience in technology and education, she holds degrees in Computer Science and Education from institutions in Venezuela, Switzerland, and the UK. Her interdisciplinary research spans computing education, learning analytics, and smart technologies that enable independent living.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Senior Member of the ACM, Adriana is deeply involved in initiatives to promote diversity in computing. She has held leadership roles in ACM-W Europe and UKI SIGCSE, and currently serves as ACM Women Communications Co-Chair. She served as an instructor, chair of Computer Technology and Programming, vice chair of Computer and Instructional Technology Teacher Education, director of the Institutional History Unit, and coordinator of BETS (Bilkent Educational Technology Services). Her research interests encompass programming, data structures, computer science education, information ethics, and security. Throughout her career, Reyyan committed to advancing the field of computer science and fostering a positive learning environment.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ayfer held several leadership roles within the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) to enhance computer science education and increase women&#8217;s representation in the field. She received the Anita Borg Change Agent Award in 2008 after eight years as ACM-W Ambassador for Turkey. She organized the 15th annual European conference on Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education (ITiCSE) for ACM&#8217;s Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE). She is the founding chair of ACM-W Europe and is proud to see amazing women getting together at womENcourage events. Her research focuses on computer science education, gender diversity in computing, and the integration of AI in K\u201312 classrooms. She is an active member of ACM, currently serving as the ACM-W Global Chair, ACM DEI member and formerly as the ACM-W Europe Chair. Through these roles, she contributes to initiatives that support and connect women in computing worldwide.
