This concert is a generous gift from the City of Trondheim, called <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trondheim.kommune.no\/english\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trondheim Kommune<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to recognize and support the importance of the work women in computing have done and to celebrate ten years of ACM womENcourage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nidaros Cathedral is also the world\u2019s northernmost medieval cathedral. The cathedral is built over the tomb of St. Olav, the Viking king who converted Norway to Christianity and became \u201cNorway&#8217;s Eternal King.\u201d Throughout the Middle Ages this was a towering symbol of religious faith and the powerful position of the Church. Other attractions on the premises include <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nidarosdomen.no\/en\/attractions\/erkebispeg%C3%A5rden\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Archbishop&#8217;s Palace<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nidarosdomen.no\/en\/attractions\/riksregaliene\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Crown Regalia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nidarosdomen.no\/en\/attractions\/v%C3%A5r-frue-kirke\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Church of Our Lady<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
