International Travel<\/span><\/h2>\n

Cyprus has two international airports, Larnaka<\/strong> (Glafkos Clerides Airport) and<\/em> Paphos<\/strong> International Airports.<\/p>\n

The distance between the Larnaca International Airport and Pyla, where UCLan Cyprus is located, is 25km (15.53 miles) and between the Paphos airport and Pyla is 142km (88.23 miles).<\/p>\n

Usually there are direct flights from most European countries and other neighbouring countries. From the USA, Australia, Africa and Asia, attendees will have to fly through one of the main European airports (e.g., London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, etc.).<\/p>\n

Visa Information<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Visa Section of the Consulate General is responsible for receiving, processing applications and for issuing visas to foreign nationals who wish to visit Cyprus.<\/span><\/p>\n

EU citizens do not require a visa to enter Cyprus, but they must carry a valid passport or their national identity card provided there is a photo and the citizenship is declared on the card.<\/span><\/p>\n

Local Travel<\/span><\/h2>\n

Bus<\/span><\/h3>\n

Urban bus services exist in all major city areas, namely Nicosia, Lemesos, Larnaka, Pafos and Famagusta area. You can use urban bus services to get to and from the Larnaka airport<\/strong>, but also to travel around the city and between cities. A list of all buses in Larnaka including night buses, rural buses and intercity buses to and from Larnaca can be found at www.cyprusbybus.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Buses from Larnaka airport to Larnaka, Larnaka airport to Limassol, Larnaka airport to Nicosia and Larnaka airport to other destinations in Cyprus are also available (www.kapnosairportshuttle.com<\/a>). Information is provided online for each Larnaka bus route, including bus timetables and bus route maps. Zinonas<\/a> operates the public transport service in Larnaka.<\/p>\n

From Larnaka International Airport to the nearby hotels<\/strong> (e.g. Tsialis\/Lordos<\/em>), you can take the 425 public bus<\/strong> to Akrolopeos Ave-Lordos<\/em> (Pyla). From the nearby hotels to the Larnaka airport, also take the 425 bus but in the opposite direction. Bus route from the hotels to UCLan Cyprus<\/span><\/h4>\n

There is a bus stop near (KOT)<\/span> AND near (HENIPA)<\/span> where you can get public bus 424<\/strong> to UCLan Cyprus and back.<\/p>\n
